Andre Titus (Director)

Holds a Chemical Engineering degree and an MBA (cum laude) from the University of Cape Town. The first 10 years of his career were spent in process and production management roles at Mittal Steel and PPC respectively. He also spent four years at SABMiller within the sales and distribution environment.

Over the course of his career, Andre has been involved in initiatives to optimise the different parts of the supply chain including forecasting and planning, raw materials handling, manufacturing processes, and sales and distribution. He has also been exposed to developing and executing different Route to Market (RTM) strategies to reach and serve the end consumer. He is a volunteer mentor with the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation.

Desigan Govender (Director)

Holds a Chemical Engineering degree and an MBA (cum laude) from the University of Cape Town. The first 10 years of his career were in process development, R&D, project management and production management roles at SANS Fibres (AECI). He also spent five years at Alnet in a directorship role.

Over the course of his career, Desigan has been exposed to various manufacturing and operations processes, with specific focus on leadership, Lean principles, system developments, and productivity improvements. He is a volunteer mentor with the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation.

Dr Earl Starr

Has 20 years’ experience in FMCG industries across all levels. He has expertise in implementing and maintaining world-class improvement programs (Six Sigma and Lean) and more formal ISO management systems for manufacturing operations.

As a SETA-accredited trainer and assessor, his consulting approach integrates workplace learning into immediate value for the organisation and personal achievement for the individual. He is a Lean Black Belt implementer.

Sanele Gaqa

Has 17 years’ experience straddled between the private and public sector. Holds a B.Soc.Sci and various leadership courses from Henley Business School and Cambridge University.

Sanele is currently building tech solutions for the informal market, enabling FMCG manufacturers engage with both retailers and customers in the most effective and efficient manner. Consolidating both informal and formal economies is central to the work that Sanele has immersed himself in.

Ncebakazi Dangisa

Studied at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology where she obtained her National Diploma in Internal Auditing.  She is currently studying towards her bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting at UNISA.

She manages the Sekika back office and serves as the main liaison with the Sekika accountants and suppliers.
